Showcasing Street Style at London Fashion Week
When the world thinks of London, I’m sure they think of Big Ben, big red buses and big rain! So without wanting to disappoint our international visitors, the weather gods have given the British capital the perfect reason to wear and extra layer or two and accessorise with a stylish umbrella for London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014.
Which shoes would you choose?
Somerset House courtyard provides a gorgeous backdrop for people having their photo taken but the cobblestones can be a girly girl’s nightmare as they decide whether they will don their favourite pair of stilettos or opt for comfort over style. I spotted some fabulous footwear at London Fashion Week today.
The designer high heels with army green ankle socks
The orange patterned low heels with school ankle socks
Zebra with a hint or fur and a dash of orange to boot
Bringing comfy back and making every girl wearing heels very envious
Who’s got the London look?
One of the reasons I love this time of year is that the art of individuality is unleashed. Models, designers, photographers and celebrities of varying levels of fame stand poised outside the impressive mirrored catwalk tent, designed by Nicholas Kirkwood, prepared to be papped by bloggers, journalists and just about anyone who has a camera, me included! Here are just a few of my favourite looks from Saturday 14th September 2013.
The modern day Mary Poppins look – Such a great colour combination
Rain ready red fabric reflecting on the mirrored catwalk tent
The Nordics meet Shoreditch with a knit and leather combo and gorgeous blonde braids
